Painted Desert National Park -- Desert Inn Panoramic

The Painted Desert is right along side the Petrified Forest in the northeastern part of Arizona.  (Route 66 essentially splits the two national parks.)  I took this shot late in the day just as I was getting to leave for the day.  I liked the setting sun and how it serves as a backdrop for the Desert Inn.  I used a little bit of post processing to brighten the hillside and keep the detail in the shadows.

This image is a combination of several images stitched together.  I have another image of the same scene with fewer images stitched together to make a more standard size photo of the scene.
